The MARIAN MISSIONARIES OF THE HOLY EUCHARIST
(MMHE) M.E. Community was formally organized on November 8, 2001 by six (6) founding couples namely; Bro Bert / Sis Nott
David, Bro Jose / Sis Noemi De Las Alas, Bro Fidel / Sis Nora Fernando, Bro Ching / Sis Susan Uy, Bro Gary / Sis Lyn Acuna
and Bro Jimmy / Sis Rosie Biala. All founding members are "encountered couples" who has been united by a shared inspiration
after so much prayers, discernment and attendance to several growth and other formation seminars.
The first prayer gathering was attended by more than 64 "encountered"
couples, was held on November 15, 2001 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Project 8, Quezon City. Thus MMHE became one
of the mandated organizations of the parish as OLPH M.E. Community.
The first planning session, seminar and workshop was conducted on December
27 - 28, 2001 at Matabungkay, Batangas with our Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Choy Ramos, as the retreat master and facilitator.
It was here that our Mission and Vision was conceived. The term of each founding couple as head servant was drawn by Fr. Choy
Ramos, during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. Bro Bert / Sis Nott David, was by our Lord as the head servant couple
for the year 2002; followed by Bro Jose / Sis Noemi de las Alas, 2003; Bro Fidel / Sis Nora Fernando, 2004; Bro Ching / Sis
Susan Uy, 2005; Bro Gary / Sis Lyn Acuna,2006; and Bro Jimmy / Sis Rosie Biala, 2007. It was also this time The Marian Missionaries
of the Holy Eucharist became a foudation with the approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
